These images are taken
from a box set of ten photographic books, a time capsule style that
depicts the estate of Great Hollands, Bracknell. Bracknell was one
of the new towns to be built after the Second World War and Great Hollands
was the last council estate to be built in the new town. The people
of Brentford and Chiswick were effectively parceled up and moved to
Bracknell and the set of books produced reverse that by setting the
estate free and allowing it to be sent back or change it's destination.
The eleventh book is a culmination of the original ten and aims to
reduce the concept and weave into one volume. © Sarah Battyll
